The work, in plain terms.
Residential conveyancing, HDB and private
Purchase, sale and the whole chain of deadlines in between. We act for buyers and sellers, and we would rather be brought in before the option is exercised than after.
Refinancing and mortgages
Acting on a refinancing, discharging the existing mortgage and dealing with the incoming bank's solicitors.
Commercial and industrial property
Sale and purchase of commercial and industrial units, including the tenancy position on completion.
Landlord and tenant
Tenancy agreements drafted properly at the start, and the less pleasant end of the relationship: rent arrears, breaches, and recovery of possession.
Ownership and title
How you hold a property matters. Joint tenancy carries a right of survivorship, so the property passes automatically to the surviving owner. Tenancy in common does not, and the share passes under the will or the intestacy rules. We will talk it through, and it is worth thinking about alongside your will.
Three steps, no mystery.
Tell us what happened
A short call, an email or a message. You explain the situation in your own words. There is no charge for finding out whether we are the right firm for you.
We give you a straight assessment
What your position is, what the process looks like, roughly how long it takes, and what it is likely to cost. If we think you do not have a case, we will say so.
We act, and you deal with Mr Tan
You are not handed to a junior. The lawyer you met is the lawyer running your matter, and you can reach him.
